Experience

Most of my experience is in teaching gifted and talented children in the elementary grades, in both self-contained and resource room environments. I also taught in first and second grade general education classrooms. I love teaching, learning, and creating curriculum and can't wait to share my excitement with you!

Teaching style

Giving students autonomy and control over their learning has always been a priority for me. I feel most successful when students in my classroom feel empowered to challenge themselves and their peers, take on responsibilities, and present their learning in new and meaningful ways.

My own education history

Bachelor's of Science in Early Childhood Education (PreK-3); Master's of Arts in Education in Curriculum and Instruction with focuses on Literacy and Talent Development.
