Squatchy Math Quests

This math mystery has students practicing graphing and rewriting Quadratic functions to solve 5 clues. The clue allow them to eliminate suspects, and find out who the thief is! Students will rewrite Quadratics into three different forms (graphing, factored, and standard) and will ask questions about special points (vertex, x-intercepts, and y-intercepts). CONTENT: Writing equations for Exponential Functions. This is a great activity to support CPM's Core Connections Algebra Chapter 7. ACTIVITY: This activity contains two worksheets, one for each person in a partner pair. They have different questions but the answers are the same. Students work independently on their problems and check their answers with their partner. If they disagree, student pairs should discuss their problems together to find the error.

These flashcards have students practicing identifying the multiplier for Exponential Functions. It has four levels of problems that can easily be separated by the codes in the graphics. Students practice finding the multiplier from percent problems and tables. Great for CPM Core Connections Algebra 1!
