PreCalculus - Conic Sections - Circuit Activity

CONTENT: This activity covers graphing all four conic sections (circles, ellipses, hyperbolas, and parabolas). The questions will ask for characteristics of the graph (location of special points, asymptotes, ect), match equations to graphs, or rewrite equations by completing the square. HOW A CIRCUIT ACTIVITY WORKS: Students may start on any station. They need a graphing calculator to make it through the stations. Have students read the problem at the station, and determine the correct answer.
