This is one of my students' favorite activities! Vocabulary words' letters are scrambled. Students are to unscramble the words using the provided clue. This is a great way to practice vocabulary acquisition, application, and spelling.

Students are much more successful with solving basic introductory trigonometry problems when they spend time learning opposite, adjacent, and hypotenuse and learning how to decide what trigonometric ratio to use when. This SMART Board notebook activity provides students the opportunity to practice this vocabulary. It also provides a 'pull tab' with answers. The activity ends with a little trigonometry comic relief.

This activity is a great way to get students comparing, contrasting, and understanding the various properties of quadrilaterals. They drag the properties into the correct vortex. If the answer is correct, the vortex "swallows" the property. If the answer is incorrect, the vortex "rejects" the property. After placing all the properties in the vortex on the particular slide, the slide will show a list of what properties went into each vortex. This is helpful because it gives the students an op

I have been teaching HS math since 2001. I have a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Math Ed and a Master's Degree in Technology in the Classroom.
