Giving accomodation sheets to resource and classroom teachers should always be documented by special education teachers and case managers at the beginning of the school year. The same is true for collecting the documentation at the end of the year. These sheets will help keep track of doing just that. It does come up at times in IEP meetings whether or not a teacher has received documentation. The teachers name and signature can show when they received paperwork.

One file includes pre-primer words in an untimed powerpoint. The other is timed. As students are introduced to sight words, the untimed powerpoint is a good resource. As students progress, students should be able to say the word on sight so the other powerpoint is timed.

Great story about the power of words and how they can be used to uplift or hurt and the power we have to choose to use them. After my daughter was bullied at school, it was a necessary read. but even for kids who aren't bullied, it's a great book to encourage them to step in when they see something to say something.
