This packet has a variety of adaptive writing paper that has visual cues to help with using the right and left margins as well as spacing between letters and words. The use of two-tone writing lines helps to define the upper and lower writing lines for letter sizing. Grid boxes are helpful to define space for each letter as well as teach spacing between letters and words. Complete a monitoring log to determine a toileting tendency in order to develop a toileting schedule. Teach a toileting routine. This includes setting clear rules/expectations as well as the steps of the process. Maintaining a log with the type of prompts or assistance is important to determine progress and/or effectiveness of the determined program. There are two styles of tracing worksheets for the upper case and lower case letters. The first one provides bigger letters with a beginning starting point and a bottom writing line. The second style is smaller font size and is positioned on primary paper with a middle dotted line. Activity ideas and tips/adaptive considerations provided.
These worksheets were designed for beginner scissor skills and practice. Scissors tips and adaptation considerations are provided for reference purposes. The pre-cutting lines have color-coded beginning and end point along with visuals to increase attention to the cutting lines. These visual are then transferred to basic shapes (circle, square and triangle); visuals for direction of cutting is given on the introductory page only.
