I have 25 years of experience in education. Fifteen years were spent teaching all subject areas in 4th and 5th grade. I have been an Instructional Coach at a Title 1, high-needs school for the last ten years. I make a living researching best practices and supporting teachers at my school as they implement best practices, programs, and high-quality teaching strategies. Teaching style

Student-based, interactive learning is the way to go! Math Manipulatives should be used every day. Students should write every day. Students should share their work with each other every day.
