4th or 5th Grade Running and Exercise Schedule

Created by
Tech Connect
Exercising is a fun way to play with your students and encourage a fit lifestyle. Use this yearlong running schedule as a guide to run and exercise with your students. All activities take about 15 - 30 minutes door to door. For each of the ~12 week trimesters, the students and I will repeat each activity twice. This schedule will suffice for a 36-week school year. I have left the stretches up to you. However, if you need some ideas… you can find some great ones here - https://samanthagetsfit

My own education history

I've been teaching indoors and out since 2008. Before moving into a classroom I guided and instructed a variety of outdoor sports, including surfing, snowboarding, skiing and whitewater rafting. In 2010 I decided to bring my passion for teaching and love of learning inside by earning a Masters in Education and Multiple Subject Teaching Credential at University of California, Santa Barbara.
