The Math Huddle

This worksheet covers several algebraic concepts including: Writing Equations from situationsDetermining if there is a multiplicative or additive relationshipCompleting tablesDetermining Independent and Dependent variablesGraphing situations on a 4 quadrant planeLabeling a basic 4 quadrant coordinate plane

Students go through different examples classifying the dependent and Independent variables. Each correct answer will give the students a correct number to place on their BINGO board. Only correct answer numbers will be used to play BINGO after the activity.

This is a group activity. Each question has each of the following: Finding slope using a graphFinding slope using two pointsFinding slope using a tableAll students in the same group will work out number one at the same time. One will be finding slope using a graph, one will be finding slope using two points, and the other will be finding slope using a table. Each #1 has the same answer so students can check with their group members. Students will continue this process until finished.
