My own education history

When Karen Conrad, ScD, OTR/L met Paul Weihrauch, PhD nearly 15 years ago, two wonderful things happened–the start of a new life together and the birth of an innovative solution–a solution that would help revolutionize the way occupational therapists, educators, and parents provide preventive, developmental, and rehabilitative care. Weihrauch recalls that Karen, a clinician with more than 25 years of experience, developed the idea of Therapro as a result of her own experiences in occupational therapy. "From the time that we first met in 1984, Karen had this idea of selling products to working therapists in the school systems. She knew that this was a new and growing area. In December of 1985, we got married and in the summer of 1986 we founded Therapro."
