The worksheets are staged to show how each part of the poem is developed, through to the final stage where students use the given scaffold to create their own poem within the given structure. Teaching style

I work collaboratively with students and plan individually based on the literacy and numeracy needs that they express. I create learning materials using real life, authentic information that is relevant to students. I always put learning into context for my students.
