Geometry, Data, Algebra, and Number Sense Review Game - PDF This 72-question card game (with accompanying board for sale by same seller) is a great review for middle-level math students. There is a template that allows you to print double-sided so that the questions are printed for the appropriate category. There is a PDF version (cheaper) that cannot be edited. The .docx version can be edited, but cost a little more.

About the store

Experience

Just finished my 6th year of teaching math at the middle school level. I have taught a combination of pre-algebra, Algebra I, and a core extension class called Math Enrichment.

Teaching style

I love student-centered activities and I'm working every day to improve my differentiation skills.

Awards & shining teacher moments

Kansas Horizon Award Winner (1st year teachers) Shooting Star Award (district honor)

My own education history

I attended Emporia State University in Emporia, Kansas from 2003-2007. I graduated with a BSE in middle school mathematics and journalism. I hope to start my masters in Instructional Design and Technology in the summer of 2011 :)

Additional biographical information

I think it's always important to thank the people that got you to where you are... Mary Wolfe (4th grade), Jennifer Hanson (journalism), Ryan Burrows (HS LA and Scholar's Bowl), Ron Morrill (JH math), Brock Wenciker (HS math), and my mom (JH/HS librarian). Without teachers like these, I wouldn't be half the teacher I am today.
