If they get it correct, they can place a marker on a tic-tac-toe board. Then, it's their partner's turn. It provides motivation for practice of this concept. My students loved it! It covers distributive property, associative property, commutative property, etc.

This basic Pythagorean Theorem review is a great way for students to organize their work and answers. For the last two problems, students must draw their own picture of the right triangle. This could be used as a basic review or short assessment/quiz.
