This digital reading comprehension activity contains a high interest informational reading passage that will capture students' attention. After the reading portion there are text dependent questions and an opinion writing prompt complete with a rubric. There are also context clues and academic vocabulary included in the activity. There are a total of four "reading" slides and six text dependent questions. The final slide is the written portion.

This is an observation sheet I used to allow students to observe sand, clay, loam, and silt. We poured it into a plate and they were able to draw, touch, rub, and describe what they saw. This also goes along with the science standard that wants students to keep and not alter records.
