Connect Four: Precent, Discount, Markups, Games and Practice
This is an engaging game patterned after the popular Connect four game that gets to students to practice problems of the form:
a) What is ___% of $_____?
b) Discount problems
c) Mark up problems
The problems are set to progress from the easiest on the first board, to the most challenging in the fourth board. I like this activity a lot because it is not based on chance but on both game strategy and progressively improving your skills at practicing the most common types of percent problems.

b) Subtraction
c) Multiplication
d) Division
The problems are set to progress from the easiest on the first board, to the most challenging in the fourth board. I like this activity a lot because it is not based on chance but on both game strategy and progressively improving your skills at practicing solving all types of one step equations.
