Multiple Ways to Multiply Templates and Activities
Using these templates and activities, students will be practicing 1 digit by one digit multiplication in six different ways:
• Using ten-frames
• Using Base-10 block pictures
• Using repeated addition
• Using the grouping strategy
• By decomposing numbers into 1, 2, 5
• By writing the corresponding division equation
Ideas for how to use the templates for practice, cooperative learning, assessment and for playing learning games are included.
