I created this tool to track my own students' data and progress towards their academic goals. It is entirely in PowerPoint and can be customized to include your favorite fonts and clip art. You can even change the background on the cover! I included 3 sample templates for tracking basic reading, writing, or math goals that can be edited or deleted, whatever fits your needs. What’s the Point is a number routine that exercises students’ number sense, estimation skills, and reasonability. The student(s) is presented with a closed number line with two given endpoints. On the number line, a non-labeled point is plotted. It is up to students to reason what that point may be using number sense, estimation, and reasonability and explain how/why they believe their answer to be true. This product is great for a little center activity or for reinforcing new learning! There are twenty 4-piece puzzles for numbers 1-20. Students match all four pieces together that represent the same number. Being able to recognize a number in many ways is subitizing! Print on cardstock or regular copy paper and laminate for long-lasting durability. Keep a few sets in the classroom, send home for practice, or both!
