I have taught first grade for 34 wonderful years! Creating educational materials has been so much fun and I'm thrilled to be able to share them with other teachers here on TPT!! I specialize in resources to use in a k-2 classroom. Teaching style

I want my students be excited to learn new things and to be proud of their accomplishments! My classroom is a busy, busy place! My students are encouraged to take risks and to make mistakes! When a student makes a mistake and learns something new, I always say "WOW, we just watched you get smarter!" I hope they will always feel safe enough to take risks and learn something new!

I am most proud of the relationships I've built with my students! Many of these students have grown up and are now sending their children to my classroom. It is such a delight!
