Description

This game is a fun way to review DNA, RNA, mutations, transcription, translation, and proteins synthesis prior to a quiz or test. This game has 20 questions (30 questions if you consider that many questions have multiple parts), each using a engaging image to enhance the question.

I like to place my students into small groups of 2-3 students.
I then guide my students through the game as I use my classroom projector to display the game.
As we move through the questions, each group records their answer on a sheet of paper.
After completing the 20 questions, students are instructed to swap their answer sheet with a group nearby so the questions can be graded for accuracy.
The group with the most points...win!

The file is delivered in PowerPoint format.

In total, this is a fun way to check for understanding that can easily be completed within one class period. Enjoy!

I made some adjustments for my own class but I loved a different way to review and the scope of questions covered. The biggest thing that stood out to me was the question asking about Watson and Crick without acknowledging Rosalind Franklin. Great resource otherwise.
