Description

This awesome bundle assembles three great math task card lessons together for one incredible price. Covering whole numbers, order of operations, and powers and exponents, this mathematical expressions bundle targets students right where they're at. Each task card set includes a mini-lesson of 5-21 pages in length to help you teach the concept. Once you think your students have it, give them the appropriate pack of 24-32 task cards and have them complete a variety of possible tasks.

In Whole Number Operations, students are asked to do the following:

  • With numbers ranging from hundreds to thousands to tens of thousands, your students are asked to solve basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division problems. Problems are presented horizontally, vertically, and in word problem format. All answers work out to whole numbers.

For Powers & Exponents, students are asked to complete the following:

  • Write powers, find the value of powers, and determine if a number is a perfect square.

Finally, for Order of Operations, students are requested to complete the following tasks:

  • Evaluate expressions, describe and correct errors, solve word problems, and make statements true.

You will receive 3 zipped files with 2 PDFs inside of each. Please make sure you have the ability to unzip and extract files before purchasing. One of the PDFs will be the paper and projector version of this activity. The other PDF will contain directions for Google Classroom™, links to your Google compatible resources, and more helpful hints.
