WHAT'S INCLUDED?

  • Summer Error Analysis Game (Positional Terms)

Students look at each card and decide if the answer is true or false. Then, students put a check or an X next to each one to show their thinking. An answer key is included. Students practice identifying positional terms like next to, in front of, behind, above, and more.

  • Summer Gameboard (Teen Numbers)

Each time a student answers a card correctly, the student then chooses a circle card randomly. The circle card tells whether to go forward or backwards. The first person to make it to the finish line wins! Answer key included. Task cards practice with teen numbers from 11-19.

  • Build a S'more Game (Compare Numbers 1-10)

Each time students answer a task card, they get to add part of their s’more to their mat. There are chance cards included too. You never know who’s going to win based on this twist. The first person to finish building a s’more wins! All task cards include comparing numbers 1-10.

  • Math Sort (Light or Heavy)

Students decide which campground each camp supply belongs at. Students sort the cards according to the correct answers. A recording sheet and answer key are also provided. In this math sort, students practice identifying if each item is light or heavy.

  • Summer Camp Math Activity (Add and Subtract to 10 with Pictures)

Students read each task card and solve to find the answer. Once they find the answer, they know which cabin the camper belongs in. They place that camper at the correct cabin. For example, the camper in green lives at Cabin #6. Students practice adding and subtracting with pictures within 10.

  • 80 Summer Math Puzzles

Students practice putting together various kindergarten math puzzles. I like to print on colored paper. They are easy to put together and great practice for math centers. Skills include tens and ones to 20, adding with pictures, adding within 10, geometry, counting to 20, using 10 frames, and using 20 frames.

  • Summer Whole Group Game: Counting to 20 Game to Play with the Whole Class!

Lay out the ice cream scoops all over your floor. Give each student a different numbered ice cream cone. Tell students they are responsible for finding all ice cream scoops that belong to them! Each student will use their counting within 20 skills to find the 6 scoops that belong to them.

You could also play this in teams! Give a set of ice cream cones to each group. Tell students they are responsible for finding all their team’s ice cream around the room. So, you might give one group Cone #1,5,8,18, and 20 and another group Cone #2,4,7,15, and 16.

  • Digital Hide and Seek Game for Summer

Have you ever wanted a FUN activity that is 100% editable and can be customized to any age level / any standard you are teaching? Do you need a game that you can use with the whole class OR just a few students? Something that can be used over and over again without becoming boring? Look no further! Every student I've ever encountered has LOVED the concept of hide-and-seek. In this DIGITAL hide and seek game, students are tasked with finding the hidden object by guessing answers to questions on the screen. In this version, all slides are summer-themed.

And the coolest part? It can work for ANY subject and ANY grade level! Every slide and every question can be edited however you'd like!

How to Play Hide and Seek:

  1. This game is played in PowerPoint. Drag the object on the left behind any picture on the screen so it is “hiding”. Repeat this on each page so all 10 objects are hidden.
  2. Put the game in “Slide Show” mode to play!
  3. Have students “seek” where the object is by calling on students to say answers to the questions on the screen. Click to see if their guess is right.
  4. When you click each picture, it’ll magically disappear to see if the student has “found” the object!
  5. Whichever student finds the hidden object gets to come to the front of the room and call on students to guess on the next slide!
  6. Use the blank version to create whatever skill practice you’d like—math facts, letter recognition, spelling words…the sky is the limit!

**You can also play this in Google Slides and use it digitally. The way to set it up works slightly differently so make sure to read the included directions. **

  2. Mixed Review of Addition Facts
