WHAT'S INCLUDED?
- ⭐Winter Error Analysis Game (What number comes next?)⭐
In this winter math game, students look at each card and decide if the kid’s guess about which number comes next is right or wrong. Then, students put a thumbs up or thumbs down next to each one to show their thinking. An answer key is included.
- ⭐Multi-Player Winter Game (Count How Many)⭐
Each time a student answers a card correctly, the student then chooses a circle card randomly. The circle card tells whether to go forward or backwards. The first person to make it to the finish line wins! Answer key included. Task cards practice counting within 20.
- ⭐Build a Winter Scene (Ten Frames)⭐
Each time students answer a task card, they get to add an animal to their “winter scene” or take an item off another player’s mat. You never know who’s going to win based on this twist. All task cards include determining 2D and 3D shapes.
- ⭐Multi-Player Gameboard (Practice Counting within 50)⭐
First, each player starts in a separate corner of the gameboard. The first player rolls a dice. Whatever number they get, they move forward and get to fill up that many spaces. The next player rolls. They may overtake another player. Here, green is overtaking red. You can see between Step 3 and 4 that since green landed on top of red, green got to bump red off the gameboard. Play continues with all 4 players taking turns and trying to fill up as much space as possible. When time is up, OR when all spaces have been taken, whoever has the most space filled in wins!
- ⭐60 Winter Kindergarten Puzzles⭐
This kindergarten winter puzzle pack includes 6 different types of puzzles for students to put together during the winter or Christmas season! Each puzzle type comes with ten puzzles. That means you are getting a total of 60 puzzles. This winter kindergarten math puzzles pack aligns with K.CC.1, K.CC.3, K.CC.4, K.CC.5 and K.CC.7.
Puzzle Types:
- 10 Snow Hats: Number Recognition
- 10 Gingerbread Men: Make Both Sides Equal (Counting)
- 10 Trees: Add Within 5
- 10 Gingerbread Houses: Counting to 10
- 10 Snowmen: Number, Snowflake Ten Frame, Snowman Ten Frame
- 10 Stockings: Ten Frames and Twenty Frames
- ⭐Make a Giant Snowman: Counting and Ten Frames Game to Play with the Whole Class!⭐
Make a GIANT Snowman while practicing number sense! This is a great team game the whole class can play together. The teacher lays the snowman body in strips across the floor. Each team racing gets its own large snowman body. The goal of the game is to finish matching all of the numbers on your snowman before the other teams. Students are given a bag of snowballs and walk up/down the snowman body to find where to glue each snowball. The first team to use all of their snowballs up first wins! VERY detailed instructions on how to set up and play are included inside the resource. More detailed instructions are included inside.
- ⭐Digital Hide and Seek Game for Winter⭐
Have you ever wanted a FUN activity that is 100% editable and can be customized to any age level / any standard you are teaching? Do you need a game that you can use with the whole class OR just a few students? Something that can be used over and over again without becoming boring? Look no further! Every student I've ever encountered has LOVED the concept of hide-and-seek. In this DIGITAL hide and seek game, students are tasked with finding the hidden object by guessing answers to questions on the screen. In this version, all slides are winter-themed and are just right for any holiday season!
And the coolest part? It can work for ANY subject and ANY grade level! Every slide and every question can be edited however you'd like!
How to Play Hide and Seek:
- This game is played in PowerPoint. Drag the object on the left behind any picture on the screen so it is “hiding”. Repeat this on each page so all 10 objects are hidden.
- Put the game in “Slide Show” mode to play!
- Have students “seek” where the object is by calling on students to say answers to the questions on the screen. Click to see if their guess is right.
- When you click each picture, it’ll magically disappear to see if the student has “found” the object!
- Whichever student finds the hidden object gets to come to the front of the room and call on students to guess on the next slide!
- Use the blank version to create whatever skill practice you’d like—math facts, letter recognition, spelling words…the sky is the limit!
**You can also play this in Google Slides and use it digitally. The way to set it up works slightly differently so make sure to read the included directions. **
Included Hide and Seek Pre-Made Games for You:
- Addition Facts to 20
- Mixed Review of Addition Facts
- Addition Double Facts
- Subtraction Facts to 20
- Mixed Review of Subtraction Facts
- Multiplication Facts from 1-10
- Mixed Review of Multiplication Facts
- Division Facts from 1-10
- Mixed Review of Division Facts
