This final project requires students to read and reflect upon the classic short story "Rikki-Tikki-Tavi," by Rudyard Kipling. The focus of this assignment is CONFLICT and CHARACTERIZATION. It allows students the freedom to "become" whichever character they wish, while analyzing that character's interactions with everyone else in the story.

This is an exam for all 22 chapters of Sharon Draper's novel, WE BEAT THE STREET. It includes three parts: Multiple Choice/Short Answer, Quotations, and Matching. There is also an answer key included.
This exam is differentiated for two groups of student: the TRIANGLES at the bottom of the first two pages indicate an exam for Above- and At-Level Students. The CIRCLES at the bottom of Pages 3 and 4 indicate Below-Level students.

This assignment is PART TWO of an introduction into the classic short story, written by Rudyard Kipling. The webquest requires students to analyze, interpret, and infer facts about the two animals: cobras and mongooses, who are the main characters in the story.
