Tattle Mail

To decrease the amount of tattling that occurs in my classroom, I implemented "tattle mail." I have a mailbox in my classroom (bought off of Amazon) and a pile of tattle mail near the mailbox. Students may grab a tattle mail slip, fill it out with their tattle, and stick it in my mailbox. I check my mailbox often, usually recycling most of the tattles. However, every now and then there is something that I need to address :)

Student reflections increase learning and allow making meaning in the process they are engaged in. A colorful and informative allergy card displayed in your child's classroom or in the substitute folder can increase your child's safety at school. People often forget what in particular our child might be allergic to, and what the protocol is to prevent an allergic reaction. This can also be a great self-advocacy tool for our young ones. They simply need to point to the allergy card on the wall or taped to their desk to make sure adults in the room (volunteers, substitute teachers, etc.) are m
