This is a really fun idea for any stage as you can edit the questions to increase difficulty or decrease.
I'll be making more for just addition, just subtraction, multiplication and division soon. If this all goes well :) Please provide some feedback or ideas.

Finding engaging ways to hook student interest about grammar is a constant struggle for teachers. How many times have your students responded with a unanimous cry of “BORING!” to traditional grammar worksheets? This Do Now makes grammar both fun and relevant to students’ lives as it taps one of their biggest passions – music! This Do Now can be used as a formative assessment with which to spark interest for future more in-depth teaching or as a gauge for previously taught lessons on the subject.
This short quiz asks students to identify the 6 parts of a story- Exposition, Conflict, Rising Action, Climax, Falling Action and Resolution. The first part is a fill in the blank diagram, where they fill in the plot chart each of the 6 elements. The second part is a fill in the blank, where they use each of the 6 plot elements to match them to the correct definition. I am also including the answer key!

This is a short quiz for the book David Goes to School by David Shannon. The quiz was used to assess student's readiness to take an Accelerated Reader computer based assessment on the book. The questions are unique and do not duplicate the accelerated reader questions, but is a good indicator of student attention to the text.
