Group Presentation Peer Evaluation Rubric
I use this rubric with my other product "Group Presentation Grading Template." The Grading Template only represents 70% of a student's grade. The other 30% comes from their peers. I give each student in my class one of these and they use the rubric to grade each of their group members.

Everyone likes to be appreciated! So, this year for my parent volunteers and for my paraprofessionals, I bought them each a Redbox Promo Code. For parents, I tied the tag to 2 bags of microwave popcorn. I made fresh caramel popcorn for my paraprofessionals that work with my kids. This is an editable file in Publisher. Student Self-Assessment Rubric
Each 8.5 x 11 page lists a stage of the learning process and can be used to help students verbalize where they are. The stages are based on the class theme I used last year of "Blooming Where I'm Planted" where scholars were expected to focus on their growth based on who they were and avoiding comparisons to others.

Often students do not completely understand what a rubric is assessing or how to use it when creating their original piece of writing. QR Secret Code Breaker Cupcake Game
QR codes are a great way to get your students engaged in a lesson! In this literacy activity, students will be working alone or in pairs to break the code word using the secret code breaker. Once they think they have the correct answer they can scan the QR code to check their answer. All you need is an iPod, iPad, etc that has a QR Code Scanner on it.
Your kids will love scanning the QR codes when they’re finished breaking the codes and then self-checking their work.
