This foldable can be used in multiple ways. I chose to use it to review fractions, equivalent fractions, & converting fractions to decimals & percents. I included a key of how it was used in my classroom but this can be personalized to fit your needs. This is a great resource for Interactive Math Notebooks. Feedback is appreciated! Please use the Ask a Question feature in TPT too! Thanks!

With one die (I like foam in my classroom!), students record 32 die rolls in a tally format. Great for after a quiz/test and starting to explore a probability unit and also to put something in your active students' hands! Questions are included for students to think about what they thought would happen. Make predictions! After completed, you can also discuss experimental verses theoretical probability. Two print on a page to save paper! Also, you could do with a partner to think-pair-share!

This is a guided instructional lesson about fractional pieces: In this lesson students will learn how to convert from fraction to decimal to percent. Students will compare rational numbers and place them on a number line. Students will multiply, divide, subtract, and add rational numbers with illustrations. Created with a Mac. I've only opened this file with a Windows computer once and had to do some adjustments.

Students use Base 10 unit cubes to design a robot prototype. They will use 100 cubes and need to be able to convert between fractions, percents and decimals using benchmarks of 25%, 50%, 75% and 100%. Some numbers have been provided to aid in calculations. Students also need to explain their strategies to problem solving.

Fractions Supplementary Worksheet

This is 2 worksheets in one. The first worksheet is on reducing fractions and simplifying improper fractions. The second is equivalent forms: changing between fractions, decimals, and percents. Both worksheets are regenerating, meaning each time you open them, completely new problems are created. You can print out a class set from one, or keep hitting F9 (which will refresh the worksheet) and print out however many different sets you would like. Each has a matching answer key that regenerat

A brief description of a fleet supervisor's job is provided, followed by a hypothetical situation involving a fraction that needs to be simplified. Students are required to simplify the fraction, show their work, and fully explain their reasoning in the form of a writing prompt. This is a great way to include nonfiction math, can be used as a bell ringer, performance task, or formative assessment.

Model Percents

Use 100 grids and Persent strips to help your students model with percents. This tool is recommended for use with middle school math classes. I cut them into half sheets and copy them front and back then laminate them. This way students can use expo markers to model percents during practice and group work. Paper copies can be made for a copy in the students' math notebooks.

A probability experiment designed for use in my 7th Grade Math class. The 1st page has the students make estimates and we discuss Theoretical probability. The students then get to open and record data on the following page. After recording the data, the students write fractions, convert to decimal, and then to percent. The students complete the process three times using three Fun-Size bags of plain M&Ms. They are then asked to combine their data and do the conversions again. Finally, they
