This resource includes 2 short non-fiction extracts from author Robin Wright’s 2001 book set in Iran called “The Last Great Revolution”. The extracts include questions and an answer key. This is ideal for students studying Marjane Satrapi’s Persepolis or it can also work as a stand-alone resource. IB Psychology: 3 Levels of Analysis & Options Visual and Quiz
This resource is a visual of the levels of analysis and options for IB Psychology. It is not affiliated with the IB but this resource was made with care to provide students with useful visuals to understand the various elements of the course. Viral Video Response: Multiple Languages
This resource provides a link to a viral video on knowing multiple languages with instructions for a written response. It also contains an article link on why bilinguals are smarter (opinion piece) and a TED Talk link on language acquisition. As a bonus, I included a Wordle for the viral video as a visual aid. This is ideal for an IB mini-lesson promoting international mindedness, although it could be used for any class promoting bilingualism and the fun of knowing multiple languages.

About the store
Experience
This is my tenth year teaching fulltime. I have taught grades 9-12 high school English, Journalism, Yearbook and AP and IB Psychology. I am an experienced MYP and IB Language A Literature English teacher.
Teaching style
I believe in hands-on, inquiry and project-based learning. One of the things I enjoy most about teaching is nurturing creativity. I teach with the idea that great conversations lead to deep learning. Teaching AP Psych helped me become a better teacher in every way. (All that info. on the brain, learning and memory, language acquisition, etc. really generated some “aha” moments.) I love integrating art, music, history and psychology into lessons about writing and novels.
