IB Learner Profile Traits in Literature
This is a simple graphic organizer to get students to make connections between the IB Learner Profile and the traits of characters in literature. It is good for brainstorming, class discussion and journal writing. I have also included a PowerPoint slide of a Wordle of the IB Learner Profile traits for you to project at the front of the classroom.

About the store
Experience
This is my tenth year teaching fulltime. I have taught grades 9-12 high school English, Journalism, Yearbook and AP and IB Psychology. I am an experienced MYP and IB Language A Literature English teacher.
Teaching style
I believe in hands-on, inquiry and project-based learning. One of the things I enjoy most about teaching is nurturing creativity. I teach with the idea that great conversations lead to deep learning. Teaching AP Psych helped me become a better teacher in every way. (All that info. on the brain, learning and memory, language acquisition, etc. really generated some “aha” moments.) I love integrating art, music, history and psychology into lessons about writing and novels.
