Students learn about the longest Lego snake, the largest Lego bridge, the largest Lego set, and the biggest Lego Christmas tree ever built in this activity which reinforces place value concepts! Students have to determine which number is in the ones, tens, hundreds, and thousands place. They also have to tell the value of a digit in a given place.

Students will learn about amazing and true Lego records while practicing the written form and standard form of three- and four-digit numbers (one fact has a number up to the ten thousands place). They read the fact which includes a number in either standard form or written form. Then they write the number in the other form. Bold and underlined text, as well as arrows, help students identify the number and know in which form to write it.
