This is a fast-paced money review game appropriate for small groups of 3rd - 5th grade students. Students practice counting, adding, subtracting, comparing, and giving change.
Math Tic - Tac - Toe
Set 9 players up to be the “stars” of the game. These students will sit in 3 rows of 3 to simulate a tic tac toe grid. I usually have the back row sit on stools, middle row sits in chairs, first row sits on floor or in beanbags. This way the students can see the actual grid in front of them.

Students race to form a group that matches the correct answer. If groups have too many or too few - they are out of the game and must sit on the outskirts of the playing area.
