We are a small, local company, created by two caring and compassionate teachers. We create hands-on, differentiated resources for our students. Combined, we have over 20 years of teaching experience, from Early Education to Grade 12, in all disciplines.

Grade 4 - Numeracy Progression Assessment
The Numeracy Progression Assessment is given three times per year. Ideally, September, February and June. There are three different tests that assess the progression of bench marked Numeracy Skills per grade level. Each test comes with a student rubric for reporting. See below for listed outcomes assessed for each test.

- Say the number sequence 0 to 1000 forward and backward by: 5s, 10s or 100s, using any starting point, 3s, using starting points that are multiples of 3, 4s, using start

Use the following pages to assist you with “drill & kill” basic MULTIPLICATION FACTS from multiply 0 to 10.
They are not super cute, but get the job done. Each sheet contains 20 facts for a specific multiplier. Each sheet contains 3 repeating sets to save photocopying.
Directions:
• Create 11 different bins, from multiply 0 up to multiply 10
• Place copies of each drill set into each bin
• Allow 1 – 1.5 minutes to complete the set

Use this fun game to reinforce 2-digt by 1-digit addition. Students will roll a 10-sided die or use cards A-9. They will create a 2-digit numeral and a 1-digit numeral. The goal of the game is to be the player with the largest sum. If a number does not work, a player has the choice to "junk it."
