I leave two copies of this attendance sheet when I know that I will be absent. One with instructions to send it to the office with students by a specific time and another for them to keep to reference throughout the day (if they need to count students to make sure they have them all when picking them up from specials, lunch, recess, etc.). All you need to do is fill in your name and the names of your students and you are good to go!
This is a game I created to support students as they learn how to create and interpret arrays, which correlates with Common Core Standard.2.OA.C.3.
Students can do this simple dice game independently or with a partner. I have included two different game sheets for you to choose from depending on the needs of your students.
Here are the forms that I use to keep track of student data, grades, attendance, anecdotal notes, and student project ideas. I use all of these forms often and they really help me keep track of everything going on in my classroom. I find these essential to each school year and I hope they help you as well!

I use this anecdotal notes sheet to track how well students have grasped various standards or concepts. This product is editable in case you would like to populate the headings with different criteria and/or add your students' names.
I made these cards to use at a mock election that I will hold in my classroom the day before election day. Students will draw their picture in the box and fill in the rest of the information about themselves. I will print them out on cardstock to give them a more official feel. I will have them present these at the front of the classroom before they vote.
Students demonstrate their understanding of the terms relative and absolute location. Students then apply that understanding to describe the relative location of their desks in the classroom. This goes will with the Pearson My World, We Do Our Part textbook chapter 3 Lesson 1.
I created these ballots to use with a mock election in my classroom this year. I only included the democrat and republican candidates. They are the ones pictured in the 2016 Presidential Election powerpoint that I also have in my store.
I developed this powerpoint for my 2nd grade class to explain a little bit about the 2016 republican and democratic presidential candidates. I also explain the voting process in step by step instruction with pictures. I wanted to be able to explain why we do not have school on election day. I will also be holding a mock election in my classroom and also have the voter IDs I made for my students and election ballots uploaded to my store.
This activity reinforces the term "relative location". I did a drawing of my classroom, had my students label major landmarks in the classroom (ex. teacher's desk, whiteboard, door) and put a foil star sticker on their desks. Then they used this half-sheet to describe the relative location of their desks.
Students should use magnets to test if various items around the classroom are magnetic or not. This document is editable so you can customize it to materials you have in your classroom. Students will then draw or write the names of the items in each category box depending on whether or not they are magnetic.

Hello! I use this sheet to capture scores from running records I give during guided reading. I try to get two running records done per student each month. This sheet is helpful to reference at SIT and IEP meetings. I also usually highlight each name based on a color chosen for their guided reading group (ex. my red group is highlighted pink, my blue group is highlighted blue, etc.). This helps to track a group's progress to notice if the level of books you are reading is too easy or too hard for
I created this worksheet for the beginning of the year. This gives my students a long term goal to strive for. I will also keep their responses in mind for career day in the spring. I have included corresponding objectives and standards, a rubric, and task description for a standards based bulletin board. This could be used at the beginning of the year or before career day.
I use this capture sheet each time I do DRAs and dictations. There is a column for student names, previous DRA scores (to remember where to begin testing during the next window), new DRA level, comprehension score, accuracy score, self-correction ratio, and a dictation score. If I am unable to finish a student's testing in one sitting I record relevant data in pencil. Once I have confirmed that a student cannot pass the next level up I trace over my pencil or rewrite in pen. This helps me keep t
I use this document to record the scores for my students for each assignment each week. I have one column for each required number of grades per subject by my county so I don't miss any grades each week. All you need to do is enter student names next to the numbers in alphabetical order as per your online grade book and make any adjustments to the column titles based on your required weekly grades and you are good to go! I put a check mark on top of each column as I enter them to keep track. I h
I keep copies of this weekly attendance sheet in an attendance binder. This is a good record to keep a hard copy of in case you ever make an error entering attendance on an online platform. I write an "A" for "Absent" and a "T" for "Tardy" in the box as need be. Writing the number of students who are present in the bottom row helps me remember how many students are present when I count them after specials, lunch, and recess to make sure that I'm not missing any members of my class. I also staple
This place value worksheet involves base 10 blocks and a place value/ HTO chart. There are 2 pages- I use one to model with and give the students the other to complete by themselves.
