These array task cards are a great way to introduce the concept of multiplication to your students. There are 5 different sets with 24 cards per set.
Set 1 - students are shown an array grid and must come up with the corresponding equation
Set 2 - students must go from the expression (10 x 3) and draw the array
Set 3 - students must go from picture array to equation
Set 4 - students must go from rows (10 rows of 3) to equation (10x3=30)

This *freebie* contains 8 (4-piece) puzzles. Each puzzle contains the number in base ten blocks, standard form, expanded form and number-word form.
I recommend laminating them and using them in centers, as an early finisher activity or as part of a class review by having students find their partners and complete their puzzle.
