Creating Classrooom Magic

This is a quick and easy activity to set up in your room, and it gets the kiddos up and moving. All you need to do is print out the cards, laminate, cut, and then hang them in various spots around the room. Pass out the recording sheet to each student and them allow them to walk around the room and solve each card. This set focuses on fractions.

This test was created to assess students understanding of place value concepts. This can be given paper pencil or you could make it digital if you desire. I have used it both ways. I have left an empty box at the top right corner of each page. Here I recorded myself reading the directions and placed the speaker icon of my recording in this blank box if you choose to use it digitally. I made a hard copy answer key as well if you choose to do it paper pencil! There are 15 questions in all.

This is a Google Slides activity that you can do as a whole group lesson to practice number identifcation. This is a google slides activity. The students will be practicing subtraction. They will look at the objects on each page. They will then look to see how many are being taken away. With this information they will create a subtraction sentence by dragging and dropping the correct numbers in the empty boxes.
