They take the information on the task card and then use the planning pages to create a word problem. This set of task cards will help your kiddos practice their rounding skills. There are 15 task cards with a recording sheet included The students must look at each number on the task card and follow the directions on where to round to (nearest 10 or nearest 100).

I use this journal with my math workshop outline in my math classroom. We stop rotations with 7-8 minutes to spare in class. My students go back to their seats and choose a prompt from this packet to answer that day. They can choose any prompt they want. If time permits I call on a few students to share. It has the students reflect on their learning! I used blooms taxonomy to create my types of questions.

For all those kids who are struggling to understand 2 digit multiplication with regrouping this is a cute little scoot game for them to play. You place the cards around the room and have the students "scoot" around and solve them using their recording sheet.

These books are meant to be resources for your children to be able to access when they need a little reminder or practice with a certain skill. They do not go into incredible detail.
