This is a mat and cards that can be used at a math center to practice with a partner estimating to the nearest 100 and 10. My kids love it!!!! -print the cards on cardstock and cut the cards -place game sheet inside a plastic protective sheet or print on cardstock -print answer key so students can self-correct -use EXPO markers to write answers on recording sheet

About the store

Experience

-Currently teaching 5th grade in Winter Garden, Florida -Started teaching in Bedford, New York in 1999 -Student taught, substituted, and was an Assistant Science Teacher at Pocantico Hills Elementary School in 1998 -Earned Masters of Science from Manhattanville College in 2005 -Earned Bachelors of Science from Pace University in 1998

Teaching style

Hands on and kinesthetic approach to teaching. I am one to break away from a textbook to teach hands on activities to introduce and reinforce new concepts to my "ducklings." I am definitely a constructivist- always scaffolding information.

Awards & shining teacher moments

I graduated with honor from Pace University and Manhattanville College.

My own education history

-Earned Masters of Science from Manhattanville College in 2005 -Earned Bachelors of Science from Pace University in 1998

Additional biographical information
