Contractions Word Work Center n't, 'd, 've for Journeys Unit 3 Lesson 13 -This Word Work Center will give the children plenty of opportunity to practice writing contractions in context and isolation. -Just copy onto colorful cardstock and fold the perforated section so the children can self-correct -or you can cut the perforated area and have the children match the cards. -Use a white board to have the children write the contraction correctly.

My kids love it!!!! -print the cards on cardstock and cut the cards -place game sheet inside a plastic protective sheet or print on cardstock -print answer key so students can self-correct -use EXPO markers to write answers on recording sheet

Teaching style

Hands on and kinesthetic approach to teaching. I am one to break away from a textbook to teach hands on activities to introduce and reinforce new concepts to my "ducklings." I am definitely a constructivist- always scaffolding information.
