This is a game I made for my small group working with words station. It uses CVC words. I play with a small group of 3-6 kids. The first player chooses a card. S/he reads the word on the card. This is a script for the story "The Three Billy Goats Gruff" adapted for the beginning readers in my classroom. It includes a cover sheet, two pages of script, and two pages of "character cards". In my classroom, I laminate the "character cards", hole punch them at the corners, and use string to make a necklace for each of the characters. We say the Pledge of Allegiance every day! This is a sight word review sheet in which the kids read the pledge, and add the sight words that we have been learning. My kids did a great job with it, and were so proud to read it to their parents.
