This is a game I made for my small group working with words station. It uses CVC words. I play with a small group of 3-6 kids. The first player chooses a card. S/he reads the word on the card. S/he keeps drawing cards and reading them until they either miss a word or draw a "You Broke My Heart" card. Then it is the next player's turn. I keep the game in an old heart shaped Valentine box.

About the store

Experience

I have taught 25 years in kindergarten and 4 years in PreK. I've also done presenting about my classroom all around the country. I LOVE meeting kindergarten teachers, almost as much as my kindergartners.

Teaching style

I don't make things for TPT, I make things for my classroom and when I have time, post them here to share! I love to hear from other teachers about what works for them. In my classroom, I love to make them laugh! We work hard to build a strong community in our classroom. We do lots of hands-on learning, we are always making connections, and we always ask "How?" and "Why?". I LOVE kindergarten!
