Experience
We have more than 30 years of teaching experience. We design CCSS curriculum for a national online provider of math and ELA curriculum. We teach workshop classes on the integration of CCSS for our school district and for the county. We are leaders in the integration of Chromebooks in the classroom.
Teaching style
Our teaching style incorporates the most innovative ideas we can get our hands on and our heads around. In our classrooms we teach math lessons using tasks instead of lecture. Tasks engage students and allow them constructive struggle as they wrestle with problems that have multiple solution paths and multiple solutions. We teach social studies and language arts using project based learning to engage all learners. We feel that active engagement and constructive struggle bring out the highest achievement in our students of varied backgrounds and abilities.

Through an extensive application process we were chosen to be members of a team of 200 teachers, nationwide, to develop curriculum for an online organization.

We hold a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology, Bachelors of Science in Economics, a Masters of Science in Economics and California teaching credentials.
