Boo Bump is a super fun and engaging math game that allows students to practice number recognition, counting, subitizing and/or addition. These Brown Bear, Brown Bear character 5 frames can be used in many ways. My students each get a 5 frame character with 10 unifix cubes of 2 colors, 5 of each. Then I ask them to show me different ways to make 5 on the 5 frame. For example, one student might use 3 red unifix cubes and 2 blues. Then they say to their partner, 3 and 2 makes 5.
