Likewise, does a grade of 42 mean they were able to comprehend 42% of what you taught? Does the child understand the significance the numeric scores? And, of what they mastered, were they able to simply recall the facts or were they able to use the information in a unique

Once again, I couldn't find exactly what I needed, so I made my own.

This vocabulary list is not in alphabetical order, but in order of appearance based on units of instruction. A brief description / definition is included for each essential word or phrase. For some, a web link has been embedded within the vocabulary wo
Light A Fire in students' willingness to read, analyze primary source documents, and work as a team. This Civil War Gettysburg Address activity is differentiated based on reading levels to help all students understand Abraham Lincoln's speech. So the other day I was annoyed that I couldn't find a simple list of landforms and their descriptions. So, I put one together. Over 50 different landforms are included... I'm sure it's not a complete list, but it served our purpose.
BTW, after a unit on basic geography, I gave my students this list and a bingo paper that I crafted out of construction paper and MS Word 4X4 chart and we played "Coastal Cupcake Bingo". The winners got my home-made cupcakes (see photo on sample page).
