Teaching style

I enjoy learning! I enjoy teaching! I also enjoy watching my students learn! My overall teaching style involves a method where students are engaged in literacy using authentic and applicable learning. A backwards planning approach that includes students in the decision-making process. A teaching approach that includes interactive engagement to enhance students' learning style and multiple intelligence. This is accomplished using hands-on, technology-based approaches via project-based-learning. An assessment approach that uses initial diagnostic and ongoing formative assessments to determine student's individual needs and progress towards a set goal. A learning approach that uses differentiated instruction via literacy stations and guided literacy.
