This activity in Google Slides will allow your students to practice both thesis statements and topic sentences. On some Slides, students are given topic sentences and given instructions to write a thesis statement. In other cases, students are given a thesis statement and told to develop topic sentences. Experience

I have taught both adult and elementary-aged English Learners in mainstream and sheltered classrooms. I even taught second grade for a year! I'm now teaching high school English Learners of all different ability levels and backgrounds.

Teaching style

I like my class to be fun and interactive! I strive to incorporate Sheltered Instruction Observational Protocol (SIOP) strategies into my teaching. I love doing projects and hands-on activities, as well an incorporating multicultural literature and other resources to celebrate my students' diversity.
