**Updated File Format** The Common Core Standards require that students in middle school know many of the Perfect Squares and Perfect Cubes. This foldable covers all the information that your students need when performing the basic operations with Integers, Fractions, and Decimals. It makes for a quick reference and is a great addition to student notes or an Interactive Notebook.

This file includes both student notes with practice and additional practice pages that can be used as classwork or homework. The four basic operations are shown with integers. The notes are in a "fill-in-the-blank" format which can be copied and put in the students binders. This format streamlines the teaching process by limiting the amount of time needed for students to copy the notes. Included with the file is an answer key for the blanks on the notes pages.

This is a great activity to help students understand comparing numbers that are written in Scientific Notation. The first part is for the entire class. These sheets are a great addition to your students’ notebooks/binders. They cover four common, but often confused, concepts: Fractions, Decimals, Integer Operations, and Ratio/Proportions. Even better is that they come in both English and Spanish!! Copies of these guides can be printed and put directly into students’ binders. Here is a meaningful way to stress the importance of number sense in our students. Many "Number of the Day" activities are available, but they are all geared for lower grade levels. This is a set of 30 cards containing a variety of addition and subtraction expressions with integers. If you are anything like me, you are very picky about having your students completely showing their work in math class. These note sheets were used as a review at the end of our unit, but could easily be separated and used as guided notes in a regular notebook, or in an Interactive Math Notebook. This is a fun activity for the first day of school. Students use their prior knowledge combined with classroom resources to find math related words for each letter of the alphabet.
