Save yourself lots of time with these mats. I use these laminated in the classroom and downloadable for the students at home. A list of useful phrases, aide-memoires for tenses and useful vocabulary including adjectives, connectives, adverbs of time, opinion vocabulary.

Students use the photos (the free file) to match up with the descriptions on this sheet. They decide who they are what their names are, there are various correct answers but the students need to recognise the correct family members to be able to match them. I print the photos onto A3 and then the other sheet, I either allow them to copy or cut and stick, depending on age range and ability.

I have these laminated in A3 size around my classroom to help with flipped learning and making the students more independent learners and users of language. They are there so all year groups can use them, so it is nice to see some of my year 7 students using some of the higher level phrases in their work.
