I have been teaching for 20 years and am a trained MFL (WL) teacher for Spanish and French. I work in a very successful, busy secondary school in South East England. I love teaching and languages and technology are my passion.
Students use the photos (the free file) to match up with the descriptions on this sheet.
They decide who they are what their names are, there are various correct answers but the students need to recognise the correct family members to be able to match them.
I print the photos onto A3 and then the other sheet, I either allow them to copy or cut and stick, depending on age range and ability.
Practice of people in the family and possessive adjectives.
Students need to identify the vocabulary to do with family and then think about to whom they refer:
e.g. the father of my father is my ......?
The students then need to practise possessive adjectives - my, your (singular) and his/her.
Students use these photos to match up with the descriptions the sheet linked to this.
