PURPOSE
These je me présente activities combine guided tasks with open-ended rich tasks. They encourage active learning, creativity and are designed to facilitate differentiation. They are based on CEFR level A1 and are suitable for FSL Core French, Extended French or French Immersion - all grades from 1-8.
They are perfect for centres; however, they can be used in many ways. They are best done collaboratively so that students can practice listening and speaking while working on completing the
This unit was designed for Ontario Grade 4 Science, Properties of Matter: Light & Sound. It covers all the big ideas and overall expectations for this strand and incorporates the scientific inquiry process. You are also encouraged to use it cross-curricularly to meet expectations from language.
