About the store
When planning lessons and activities, I always try to build lessons that give students the most authentic experience possible. Assessing skills has always been a tricky process, but through trial and error, I finally get to a version that I am confident in sharing with others. All my resources have been tested with my students and provide real world experiences and knowledge. I have been teaching health for 28 years. I started in the middle school and transitioned to high school and have since returned to the middle years.

Supplement the Egg Baby Project, but excellent as a stand alone as well. This is a highly impactful finance project. Ideal for 8th and 9th-grade students. If you have upper-level students, check out my Baby Finances Project that is geared towards 11/12 grade students. Students work through a basic budget of finding a job (relevant to their age), find costs for baby related items and have to balance a monthly budget. It is an eye-opening assignment for many students.
