b. Decompose a fraction into a sum of fractions with the sam
This math project involves students creating a survey question. They will then survey their classmates to create their data. Using this data, they will create a frequency table, a bar graph, a pictograph, a line plot, and will also find the range, median, mode, and mean of the data. Included in this project is a rubric for easy grading.
This partner game is a fun way to reinforce factorization skills previously taught. This game also reinforces the 4th grade Common Core standard- MCC4.OA.4- Find all factor pairs for a whole number in the range 1-100. Recognize that a whole number is a multiple of each of its factors. Determine whether a given whole number in the range 1-100 is a multiple of a given one-digit number. Determine whether a given whole number in the range 1-100 is prime or composite.
Included in this game are:

This activity is designed for first grade or second graders. It uses alligators to illustrate comparing numbers to 100. Students complete a cut and paste activity to "feed the hungry alligators". It can be used as a reinforcement or to reteach the skill. It can be an individual practice or it can be used in a math center.
This is a Valentine's Day Conversation Heart math activity for upper grades. Students are given a box or bag of conversation hearts. They will then do activities that involve:
estimating
counting
sorting
comparing with less than, greater than, or equal to
addition
multiplication
fractions
division
tally chart
pictograph
bar graph
This activity can be taught whole group, in partners, or as a center. Students will love having fun as they do math!
This helpful math bundle contains posters for properties of multiplication, a 4th grade common core standard (4.NBT.5). Included are posters in full color, but also in black and white to save on ink, if needed. Finally, I have included a foldable for the properties of multiplication so students can have an example in their math journals.
Included color and black and white posters for the following:
Identifty Property of Multiplication
Zero Property of Multiplication
Commutative Property of Mul
This is a fun math game that reinforces place value and rounding to the nearest hundred. This game can be used in a center or an individual student can use it for extra practice. It can be used to reinforce rounding to the nearest thousand, hundred, and ten once they are taught, or it can be used for remediation. It's also great for ESEP students! This game contains a gameboard, directions, game cards and an answer key. If you like what you see, please rate this product! Thank you.
This activity goes along perfectly with following the 4th grade mathematics standard:
4.MD.B.4 Make a line plot to display a data set of measurements in fractions of a unit (1/2, 1/4, 1/8). Solve problems involving addition and subtraction of fractions by using information presented in line plots.
Students love this activity because it incorporates partner work, the kinesthetic activity of “jumping the frogs”, measuring using a ruler, taking data, and creating and analyzing line plots. It

How to play Fraction Frenzy:
1. The teacher will tape the "solve and answer cards" around the classroom.
2. Students will be paired with a partner. Each set of partners will begin at a different "solve and answer card".
3. Partners will follow directions on the fraction cards, either changing the improper fraction to a mixed number or changing the mixed number to an improper fraction. They will solve these on their answer sheet next to the correct letter. They must show all work. They
In this fun Halloween activity, students will create a Haunted House "Glyph" by including items on the picture that represent them (ie. "Where will you go trick-or-treating?", "Do you like scary movies?", "Is your costume scary?", etc.). Students can then have fun comparing their glyphs to their classmates. In these activities, students will tally, compare and graph data using a single and double bar graph and a pictograph. Glyphs make math so much fun!
